Peru Revealed: A 7-Day Immersive Tour

In the morning, you'll board your flight to Cusco. Your guide will meet you at the airport and take you on a journey through the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley, located at a significantly lower altitude than Cusco. The first stop will be Manos de la Comunidad, where you'll see a variety of camelids (can you tell the difference between a llama, an alpaca, and a vicuña?). Next, visit the town of Pisac and the Inca ruins perched on the hillside above the valley.

Your guide will take you into the Sacred Valley, a land lost in time, to visit Moray, a circular terraced site that served as a laboratory for Inca agricultural scientists, and the fascinating Salinas salt pans. In the afternoon, you'll explore Ollantaytambo, with its massive Inca ruins and charming town, before lunching at Unu Restaurant. This unique outdoor dining experience introduces you to a traditional meal.

On this day, we will bring you to the Ollantaytambo train station for your journey to Aguas Calientes, a
two-hour trip through spectacular scenery. After settling into your Hotel, a bus will carry you to the gates of Machu Picchu. You will then have to uncover the secrets of Machu Picchu with a private guided tour of the Incan citadel and the breathtaking scenery that stretches away from it.

Spend the day at your hotel or take advantage of the many activities on offer:
The more energetic members of the group can hike to the top of Huayna Picchu for a bird's eye view of the ruins sprawling beneath them. The steep path takes about an hour and a half to ascend (Consult availability and additional cost in advance).
Or visit a spectacled bear research center and the butterfly garden. In the afternoon, we return to Ollantaytambo, where we take a traditional Pachamanca ('earth oven' in Quechua). Then we will bring you back to your hotel in Cusco by private car.

In Cuzco, the capital of the Incan Empire, you'll visit Sacsayhuaman, an immense Incan complex with impressive stones the size of Buses; back in town, you'll visit the Choco Museum to see who's best at making Andean Chocolate (the proof of the pudding is in the eating) and end your explorations visiting a Local Market where you can find varieties Peruvian products.

Drive you to the Cusco airport for your flight to Lima. Depending on the time of your international flight, you can take the opportunity to squeeze in a private tour of Lima's key sites (at additional cost). In a private vehicle where you can safely store your luggage, you will get the chance to visit some of the city's museums, markets, and historic squares and to dine in one of Lima's many world-class restaurants.
